Beautiful attention to detail.
The twisted paper branches here have given me an idea to consider using wire to create a similar effect, and then coat the wire in paper mache style.
Su Balckwell's work is so appealing to me because I love the illustrative style she has created and much like each book her creations, crawl, walk, sail out of; each piece has a story to tell, sparking the child like imagination inside her audience .
